Booking Policy

To book, you can use our online system, call the salon on (07) 4951 3970, or send us a message via Facebook.


Not sure what service you need? We offer free consultations to help you get the best results for your hair!


New clients are always welcome. A deposit of $50–$100 is required depending on the service and will come off your total. For full details, check out our deposit policy page.

Deposit Policy

All clients are required to pay a deposit of $50–$100, depending on the service. This is not an extra charge— it stays as a credit on your account and comes off your total on the day of your appointment.


If you cancel within 24 hours or fail to show up, the deposit will be kept as a cancellation fee.


We absolutely understand that sickness or emergencies can come up, but we kindly ask that you let us know the day or night before your appointment whenever possible.



Payment Options:
We accept EFTPOS, cash, Afterpay, and bank transfer.

Cancellation Policy

No-shows, late cancellations, or last-minute changes may result in your deposit being kept, and another deposit will be required before we can rebook your next appointment.


We send out reminder texts to help avoid any mix-ups. If something’s come up, just give us a call or message— we’re always happy to help where we can!



Please make sure your contact details are up to date— it’s your responsibility to ensure you receive reminders and updates.


Repeated no-shows or lateness may result in the need to pay a deposit to rebook, or in some cases, no further appointments will be offered.

Securing Your Appointment

We know life gets busy, so we’ve made confirming your appointment nice and simple!


You’ll receive a confirmation text 4 days before your booking.

Just reply with:


“Y” – Yes, I’m coming
“N” – No, I need to cancel
“R” – I need to reschedule (we’ll contact you to rebook)


If we don’t hear back, you’ll receive a follow-up call the day before to confirm your appointment.


Reminder: A deposit is required to secure all bookings and will be kept in the case of no-shows or late cancellations

Costing

Pricing & Payment Methods Policy

Salon pricing may vary from one salon to the next. For accurate pricing, please request a complimentary in-salon consultation. At Gina. T Hair & Beauty, our pricing reflects the professional products and facilities we offer and the experience and training of our staff. Payment for all services can be made by cash, EFTPOS, Visa, and MasterCard. We do not accept AMEX or cheques.

Bookings

Appointment Times Policy

If you arrive more than 15 minutes late, your appointment may need to be cut short or rescheduled, depending on the day — as most of our bookings are scheduled back-to-back.


It’s not fair for us to run behind for clients who arrive on time, so in some cases, we may need to retain your deposit as a cancellation fee and rebook you for another day.


If you know you’re running a little behind, please call the salon as soon as possible so we can notify your stylist and do our best to accommodate you.


We appreciate your understanding and respect for our team’s time and the time of others.

Service Redo & Refund Policy

At Gina.T Hair & Beauty we will always perform a thorough consultation prior to your service. A quote can be asked for before works begin. If for whatever reason you are not happy with services performed at Gina.T Hair & Beauty we require clients to contact the salon within 7 days to resolve any issues. Services performed at Gina.T Hair & Beauty will not carry any guarantee if the client is not using professional products as recommended.


Gina.T Hair & Beauty will not refund or compensate clients for changing their minds or not meeting unrealistic expectations. Gina.T Hair & Beauty will not refund or compensate for services performed elsewhere to rectify or change the outcome of services performed at Gina.T Hair & Beauty reserves the right to correct any issues in-house before a refund is offered, given there is a basis to do so at our discretion.


No refund will be offered or liability acknowledged for unsatisfactory or damaged hair without A Gina.T Senior Stylist physically being able to inspect the unhappy clients hair. Photos alone are not a satisfactory or sufficient form of identifying fault or an issue with a hair service.

Product Exchange Policy

After purchasing a product from Gina.T Hair & Beauty, if you are not satisfied with the product after 2 washes, you may exchange it for another product of similar value or, at our discretion, depending on circumstances, offer a refund or credit. This does not apply to electrical products such as GHD styling irons. GHD provides a warranty, and they can’t be exchanged in the salon due to concerns with forfeiting.

Service Disclaimer

We always do a complete consultation and take every step necessary to ensure your safety and the best possible results. While we are confident in our knowledge and experience, sometimes the unexpected can happen.


It is your responsibility to inform us if you have:


  • Been exposed to or swam in chlorine.
  • Used any type of natural hair colour, especially henna or chemist/supermarket hair colour.
  • Started new medication or diet.
  • Anything else that could possibly affect your colour.


Hair colour and hair lighteners, along with other chemicals that we may use on your hair can react with any other type of chemical or metal agent that may be present in your hair. Whilst we adhere to strict guidelines in regard to colour, lighteners, and chemicals, we cannot foresee every possible outcome. It is impossible for us to ask questions regarding every possible circumstance that could result in an unwanted outcome. If you are not forthcoming about what may be on your hair it is possible you could experience anything from hair breakage, chemical burns and undesired colour results. If in doubt, mention it!


All stylists strive to ensure our clients' happiness and satisfaction. They have been added to the team based on their experience, higher education, and knowledge. We will do our very best to ensure you leave with beautiful, healthy hair each and every time you leave our salon!

FOR SOMEONE SPECIAL

Gift Certificates/ Vouchers

All gift certificates/Vouchers with an expiry date must be used within that time or within a maximum of 12 months from the date of purchase if no expiry date is stated. A 7-day cooling-off period exists for purchased Gift Certificates, and a full refund can be offered within this time. Gift Certificates/Vouchers can not be exchanged for cash, and no change is given if they are not fully used.

Promotions/

Competitions Policy

Gina.T will from time to time will run competitions and promotions. Gina.T will always endeavour to run these fairly and transparently. Some individual promotions will have specific Terms & Conditions, but all have the following:


  • Salon Manager's decision is final
  • Salon Manager's discretion applies in relation to any grey areas or technicalities.
  • All competitions and promotions run for 1 month maximum unless otherwise stated.
  • Prizes/rewards/discounts are as stated and may not be exchanged for cash or substituted for products or services unless agreed to by the manager.
  • All Winners are randomly selected unless otherwise stated.
  • Fair Play rules apply where clients may unreasonably take advantage of a promotion, competition, or offer in a way it was not intended.
  • If no terms and conditions are stated, then the above terms apply automatically.
  • No responsibility for children & personal Items. For the safety and comfort of all clients, we ask that children be accompanied by adults at all times and carefully monitored. Gina.T Hair & Beauty or our staff accept no responsibility for children in the salon or salon kids room. When in the kids' room, children are still the responsibility of their parent/guardian. Even though we take as much care as possible, please note that personal items are the responsibility of the client.
